Rose is a native Detroiter who made Jackson her home in 2000 with her late husband, Ron. A graduate of Wayne State University, she holds a degree in Education. Rose serves as an administrative assistant at Queens Church in Jackson, where she edits the weekly bulletin and contributes to the website, among many other duties. She has two children, a daughter who serves on the Livonia Police Department, and a son who is majoring in communication at Western Michigan University. Rose enjoys reading, baking, and taking daily walks at Cascades Park with her yellow lab, Lola.
