Richmond Brothers is pleased to announce that this year’s Forerunners scholarship recipient was awarded earlier this month. If you are unfamiliar, the Forerunners is an association of retirees from CMS affiliated companies.

Mackenzie Finley of Brooklyn received a $1000 scholarship through her grandmother’s affiliation with the group. Mackenzie has dreams of becoming a theatrical performer and is currently attending Central Michigan University. Her grandmother, Sandra Avery (pictured with our Director of Marketing & Events, Kira, above) accepted the award on her behalf at the Forerunners Annual Meeting at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Howell.

This scholarship provides us with an opportunity to support one of our core values while also providing a way to assist promising students during their next phase of life and learning.
