MEET OUR RB FAMILY: STEPHANIE

Richmond Brothers team is the almond butter to our jelly, the Simon to our Garfunkel, the wind to our wings. Without our team we never could have accomplished all we have today. It has been some time since we publicly thanked each and every one of them for all they have done, so we wanted to take the next few months to showcase our “peeps” and why they are so important to us. We hope you enjoy these posts as a way to really get to know those that make up your financial cheerleading team, too. –Tara Furnas, Vice President & Co-Owner

Having just shy of a year of service, Stephanie serves as our Client Service Advocate, overseeing and assisting in the client service department. As you know, world-class service is what we strive for and Stephanie’s expertise helps us continue to obtain that status. Stephanie is responsible for services like block trading, client billing, project management and more. She is also instrumental in helping us refine our service processes to help ensure we can continue to wow our extended family of clients.

Stephanie told us that her favorite thing so far about her time with Richmond Brothers has been the relationships with both the team and clients. She said that it’s a very special and unique aspect of this company. She noted that the team supports and encourages each other – lending a hand whenever needed. Stephanie said she appreciates how much hard work, effort and time our team takes to get to know each of our clients and understand what is important to them and their families.

We have been super impressed with the last 347 days that we’ve had Stephanie on board with us. Below are a few more insights into her world so that you can get to know her a bit more as well!

  • Most unusual item in desk drawer – My whole variety of teas and dark chocolate (but don’t tell anyone else in the office about the chocolate)! I have everything from stress relief tea to chai, green, and everything in between and then chocolate with ganache filling, almonds, plain, you name it.
  • First car—Black Chevy Malibu Supersport. I LOVED this car. I would trade in my Jeep now to have it back. It was black with black leather interior and had a sunroof. It was with me through so many memories! Then it got totaled in an accident by a careless driver. Luckily I had no injuries except a bruise on my chin from the airbag and a bruised rib. I actually have a picture of my sad face standing by the beat up front end – it’s one of my most pathetic looking photos to date.
  • Guilty pleasure – PIZZA. Any kind of pizza, anywhere, everywhere, I will try it or eat it. I will eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. Since I gave up meat, I always have veggies or classic cheese. I do miss pepperoni sometimes, though. It’s kind of embarrassing how much pizza I probably could eat if you really wanted me to!
  • Best vacation ever – when my husband David and I flew out to Maui!  I faced my fear of heights a few times, swam in cascading waterfall pools, ate wild strawberry guavas off of a tree in the jungle, jumped off waterfall cliffs, swam with sea turtles, and we even got engaged on a ridge overlooking the ocean!
  • Last book I read – I love reading, especially when I am on a flight as it helps to pass the time. I started and finished The Girl in Cabin 10 on our trip to Boston. This is definitely a good (and quick) read if you like suspense and mystery!
  • Pet Peeves – People smacking their lips or chewing with their mouth open. Also people who are close talkers and people who don’t wash their hands regularly. Wow! I apparently have a lot!
  • Favorite place in the world – is with my husband, David! Cheesy I know but he has been such a great person in my life and has taken me on so many adventures. My love for nature, hiking, camping, fishing, is all because of him.  We have gone on amazing hikes and trips – from mountains, to beaches, to our own little backyard and so many more places.  He also helps teach me a lot about myself, gives me confidence, and is constantly encouraging me to try new things everywhere we go. Good thing we are married!

Stephanie – we are so honored to have you on our team and we’re looking forward to many more years to come. Thank you for helping to make Richmond Brothers such a great place to work and play (and eat)! And a special thank you to your husband David for allowing us to be part of your lives!
