Kindness doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. This spring, through our Richmond Brothers Pay It Forward campaign, we were privileged to witness just how deeply one small act can ripple through a family, a neighborhood, or a community.

The nominations we received were moving, heartfelt, and often deeply personal. And while our campaign began as a way to celebrate Global Pay It Forward Day, it quickly became so much more—a collective outpouring of generosity from the people we’re lucky enough to serve.

We’re honored to share that every single nomination was selected. From helping grieving families and supporting caregivers to donating to local nonprofits and community heroes, we are delivering 24 meaningful gifts—each one inspired by a real story.

Here are just a few of the people and causes we are in process of lifting up:

• A family of nine, navigating life after losing their mother to cancer just before Christmas
• A nonprofit that delivers over 3,000 meals a week to kids in need
• A woman caring for her spouse, uncle, and community—often in pain herself, but always showing up
• An elderly couple—both retired teachers—still giving back despite their own health struggles
• A suicide awareness scholarship created in memory of a beloved daughter
• A nonprofit offering equine-assisted therapy for veterans, children, and families healing from trauma—regardless of ability to pay
• A veterans group that has educated over 30,000 students on patriotism and service
• A volunteer-run, free café that feeds dozens each week with meals, music, and community
• A home providing care and dignity to senior men without family
• A quiet community helper who never asks for anything, but gives everything
• A devoted sister whose presence brings joy and love to those around her

As we put the finishing touches on these surprises, we’re reminded that the heart of giving isn’t in the size of the gift—it’s in the intention behind it.
